The rules of ikebana were discovered and established through over 500 years of observing nature and the manner in which plants grow. It is used as a spiritual “path” or “way” in which students learn to meditate and examine the concept of self through flowers. Zen masters teach ikebana as a technique for restoring inner harmony. SHOKA CLASS
Shoka classes are two hour classes. A class is $30.00 and 6 classes for $180.00. Please click on FAQ in this website and read the payment policy. The payment policy is strictly enforced.
Saturday classes: 9/10, 9/24, 10/15, 10/29, 11/19 and 12/3
I have two classes on Saturday, morning class starts 10:00AM and ends 12:00 noon. Afternoon class starts 1:00PM and ends 3:00PM.
Tuesday classes: 9/20, 10/4, 10/25, 11/8, 11/22 and 12/6
I have two classes on Tuesday, morning class starts 10:00AM and ends 12:00 noon. Afternoon class starts 1:00PM and ends 3:00PM. Evening class starts 7:00PM and ends 9:00PM.
RIKKA
Saturday classes: 9/17, 10/1, 10/22, and 11/5.
Rikaa classes are five hour classes. It starts 10:00AM and ends 3:00PM. A class is $50.00 and you can sign up as many as you want. You need to bring your own lunch or snacks in addition to your flowers.
All classes will be held at Ikebana Dojo at 3012 King Street, Berkeley California 94703.
Flowers are not included for the classes. You must bring your own materials.

Sunday classes: 5/1, 6/5, 8/14, 9/11, 10/2, and 11/6
It starts 1:00PM and ends 3:00PM.
Only the first class 5/1 will be held at Ikebana Dojo at 3012 King Street, Berkeley California 94703. All classes thereafter will be held at 1106 Wildcat Canyon Road, Pebble Beach, California 93953.
Flowers are not included for the classes. You must bring your own materials.
